About Server
Welcome to Kingfisher Crossing! 🌈
Are you tired of the medical sanism and ableism present in contemporary psychiatry and psychology? Have you survived the mental health system and want to connect with like-minded individuals? This server is for you!
At Kingfisher Crossing, we welcome anyone who opposes the status quo in psychiatry and mental health/disability work. Whether you're a psychiatry survivor or identify as mad/neurodivergent, this is a safe space for you to find community, chill out, vent, organise, or discuss ideas.
Join us to read and ask questions, share ideas and debate, or simply recharge your batteries in a small, supportive community. Let's work together to challenge the harmful norms in the mental health system. 🦋
