About Server
Welcome to Dragon's Rest 🐉, a HTTYD inspired Roleplay Server! 🌋🗡️
Embark on a journey set many decades before the events of How to Train Your Dragon, where the action unfolds far from Berk in the territory of the Brutish, a viking tribe similar to our beloved heroes. Immerse yourself in a rich tapestry that intertwines real-world viking and regional details with the enchanting lore of HTTYD.
Years ago, the Brutish tribe established an outpost village on the volcanic archipelago of Dragon's Rest. This haven is home to a colony of wild dragons led by a selfless Monstrous Nightmare. Join the viking village, warriors, and dragonriders as they live in harmony with these magnificent creatures, striving to rescue captured dragons from hunters and defend their home against foes from across the seas.
🔥 Roleplay as a viking, a dragon, or a dynamic dragon & rider pair.
📜 Encouraging semi-literate to literate posts, but all are welcome.
🌍 Explore diverse story opportunities, from the tranquility of a Norse village to thrilling adventures and sea-bound combat.
📖 Delve into unique prequel lore within the HTTYD world, independent of film events and timelines.
🗺️ Access a reference website complete with maps, drawings, and essential information.

I got my hands on DB:FBP as a pretty standard power level-based RP server in late 2020, shortly after the server's actual creation. Since then, it's evolved into the largest RP server I've ever been in, reliant on an expansive Tier system encouraging creative writing over grinding like it's an MMO!
