About Server
🌳Harmony by Torchlight is a lore-driven roleplay server hosted on Minecraft: Java edition 1.20.1, with a custom modpack to improve Minecraft's current quality of life and vastly expand players' possibilities. The server's story takes place in the land of Harmony, an untamed wild that only those seeking refuge from proper civilization call home, as every corner of the land is suddenly woven together by a system of mysterious rune-carved stones capable of instant teleportation. Now, with the entire world essentially at one's fingertips, there's no telling the future of Harmony, only that it's sure to change from the undisturbed quietude that is its namesake. We offer:• An admin team made up of long-time friends that have been through many a Minecraft roleplaying experience together, giving us experience on both sides of the SMP experience -- both as hosts and as players.• A collection of mods to broaden possibilities in gameplay and worldbuilding, including Origins+add-ons, Create, Botania and Hexalia, and plenty more!• Means of expressing oneself and one's character further than a typical Minecraft server would provide, like Armourer's Workshop, CPM, Nicknames, and in-game Voice Chat!• An ever-expanding story with an emphasis on player autonomy and expression!• A thorough archive of all the server's characters, settings, and events!Aside from all that, though, the service we're proudest to provide is a space where people can play Minecraft, meet new people, and have fun doing it. Are you the type of person who imagines crazy-detailed animatics of your OCs late at night, wishing for some place to act them out in as much dramatization as your heart desires? Congratulations, you're among friends. Does all the above stuff sound kind of unnecessary to you, and you just want to play Minecraft? You're just as welcome here as any other. And to anyone in between, you'll fit right in, too.
