𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗘 the final battle against Thanos, all has been well. Humanity has found peace regarding alien invasions and world-destructing level threats, and the earth's mightiest heroes could finally rest. Most settled down and built families, some chose to continue working for the greater good; they 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 have lived happily ever after, but in the real world, ever afters are just dreams...

𝗧𝗪𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗬-𝗙𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦 𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗥, an event changes everything. Phineas Strange, the son of Stephen Strange, has a small accident with the time stone while practicing a spell. It shouldn't be an issue, but the little energy liberated from it causes him to have a vision of the future: the destroyed land, a team of people he only half recognized surrounded by weird blurs he couldn't decipher, one of the things attacked him and... then it was gone. Exactly like a dream, he was left speechless with nothing but a memory. Obviously, he couldn't just sit still and wait to see if that was all true or not.

𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗙𝗨𝗥𝗬 𝗡𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗕𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗗 the earth was in peace. He knew it wouldn't last forever, because nothing does. That's why, when the Avengers retired, the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. made the 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗮'𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝘅 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹, to be activated only when the world needs it most. When a young hero comes to him telling him he saw the end of the world, timed perfectly with strange occurences all over the world, he decides now is the time.
