After the last great war of human empires, the world as we once knew it is no longer the same. The newly discovered technology "ETERNUM" was supposed to mean a quick and bloody end for humanity… But everything turned out differently…

"ETERNUM" created something, a crack in time that swallowed our dimension. All surviving humans fled from the ruins of the old metropolises and gathered under a united banner… The new Human Tribunal saw no other way than to flee from Earth and leave behind the knowledge and understanding of our world. Because in the crack of time, dreams and nightmares, fantasies and wishful thinking came together to create a new world: Eternum.

When the survivors arrived in Eternum, the Human Tribunal broke apart as quickly as it was founded. The different groups created new civilizations, new peoples, and cultures. Whether it was the Chinese Dragon Empire of Long-Chi or the Dawi Cooperative of the Far North, humans still lived by greed, envy, and hatred. It didn't take long for the first of many "Eternum Wars" to break out. New cultures and peoples constantly splintered off, mixed, and formed new empires.

Now, a thousand years later, the different civilizations have changed so much that they can no longer be called human. Technology of the old world meets people who live as if in the 16th century of our time. Magic and shamanism, the belief in new gods and myths, that's what keeps Eternum alive…
